How about a ASDR update? I've been through the first 5 challenges and the 6th challenge will be handled by my partner. Since I've got a little break, I'll show off those first 5 pages. :)
The first challenge was to scraplift a page created by our partner and use the lift to showcase something about them.
The second challenge was to create a layout with a them of "5 Things I Love About..." There had to be a 5 in the title, 5 different fonts/alphas, 5 photos with the number 5 in one of them, and 5 different elements of the same type. In my case, I used 5 different buttons.
The third challenge was to use selective coloring in a focal photo, have at least 20 words of journaling and use a date element.
The fourth challenge was, indeed, a challenge for me. My partner and I each had to complete two ATC (Artist Trading Cards). Now, neither of us had ever heard of these, so it was interesting to see what came out of it. We each had to create one card for "The One You Love" and another one showcasing our partner. We decided the best way to showcase each other was to place our LOs on the cards in a patchwork fashion. My two cards are on the right, Bethany's are on the left.
Challenge #5 required us to use at least 6 of the following in our page design: 2 papers, 1 staple, 1 button, 1 ribbon, 1 tree, 1 flower, 1 alpha, 1 set of stitching, 1 frame, 1 tag.
So far, it's been a pretty fun ride, and I'm enjoying the excuse to talk with Bethany more often. :) If you'd like to follow us along, we are team #160. Our forum is HERE. There you will find all the links to my pages in the gallery as well as Bethany's.
